TO ASSIST LONG ISLAND RESIDENTS

I have joined this Facebook group page sponsored by Newsday and it can be found at: (https://www.facebook.com/groups/2592179997719700/) The purpose of the group: "We're living in extraordinary times and Newsday's advertisers are stepping up. The advertising team at Newsday has launched a Facebook group to highlight businesses that are going above and beyond to help the Long Island community during the coronavirus pandemic. Join the group to find out about the latest services, specials and operating hours being offered. Find our rules at this link: https://nwsdy.li/3a2EqUp." Here is my post and my offer to Long Island residents: "Since 1977, I have been representing and assisting people and businesses in all civil matters and empathize with all of you during this crisis. I post daily on my FB page developments in legal issues that will apply to you, especially during this crisis. I am also available to answer questions on Avvo or by email (at no cost but my answers to questions are for general purposes only and do not establish an attorney-client relationship), and if you want to retain me or formally consult, it will be at reduced fees as per Nassau County Bar Association referral and reduced fee program. Remember, currently there is a moratorium on all foreclosures and landlord/tenant matters, courts are still only hearing “essential matters” but starting Monday April 13, some additional matters may be entertained through remote access. And I have to make this statement: In accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct, this may be deemed "Attorney Advertising". Nothing contained herein should be construed as legal advice. Always consult a lawyer regarding any matter. I can be reached at 888 795-4555 or 212 972-3250 or 516 690-9780. Fax 212 202-6495. Email jmp@jmpattorney.com"
