LIPA is offering a $200 bill credit! Applicants must meet the following guidelines and show proof:
- Age 62 or older
- LIPA account customer of record
- Income eligibility based on 2008/09 HEAP income guidelines
Customers can apply in company offices where a designated LIPA representative will handle applications. Or call 800 490-0025 for an application. It is not required that the customer have arrears, but the credit is limited. The credit will take about 6-8 weeks to process.
